You've read about project life on my blog before. It's one of the reasons that my personal philosophy of scrapbooking has changed so drastically in the past 6 months. Yes, I have a personal philosophy about scrapbooking (but that's for another post). Project life isn't about taking a photo a day, although that is the way I approach it...it's about capturing the mundane, everyday moments that make up life as well as the celebrations that we experience. I am still working on finishing up last years project life album, but have already started putting together this year's album. One change I'm making is to keep the album and journaling cards out so I see it everyday. This year I chose the Amber album, but I also bought the Turquoise album to house all of our 2010 vacation photos. There's no way I will or I want to scrapbook those vacations in a traditional way...so I'm going to simplify my life and use the project life album instead. It's still quite a task to print all the photos and do the journaling, but it's much simplier than creating a layout for every single thing. THAT is an overwhelming thought!
Here are my photos from last week: I've already completed the journaling cards for the week and hope to keep up with that and organizing the photos on a weekly basis.
