While running errands yesterday I stopped in a new Christian book store called Mardel. I think it's owned by Hobby Lobby. What a fabulous store! The prices were awesome, lots of bargain books and a great selection. Being that my newest mission is simplifying my life I had to pick up this book. EAch entry is very short and sweet, but I love that this book uses God as the basis for simplifying your life.
Here is an excerpt...some points to ponder....
Begin by making one small change in your daily life: clear some clutter, make more space in your calendar, and spend more time in prayer. Give thanks, share your wealth, lend a helping hand, do what's right, folow God's ways, get enough rest, savor what you have. Take time to enjoy a conversation with someone you admire. Ask what simple truths have guided them in their life.
"There are many activities I must cut out simply because I desire to excel in my pursuit after God and holiness" Wendell W. Price
