Why I thought I would have time this first week of school to blog I have no idea...but here I am ready to continue telling you about our Oregon adventure.
After having wine tastings at two wineries I was beginning to feel a bit buzzy, so we knew we needed to find some lunch. We headed into McMinnville, a quaint little town with cafes and shops.
We had a great lunch at the Orchard's Bistro. I had the yummiest sweet ham and cheese panini with a side salad and Brian had the smoked salmon croissant sandwich.
Then we walked down the main street and discovered this little farmers market. Although I didn't buy anything I couldn't pass up taking some photos!
Our last winery of the day was Anne Amie. The views from this winery that sat on top of a hill were gorgeous. Had it not been so hot and steamy I know the views would have been better.
not the best photo...but we did buy a bottle just because of the "A"...and it was good :)
We headed back into Portland for the night and had a light dinner at an Italian restaurant near our hotel. We went to bed early as we knew we wanted to head out early the next morning.
